Seismotekhnika sends another batch of geophysical equipment to Venezuela

GOMEL, 17 August (BelTA) – The Seismotekhnika company, the Production Association Belorusneft structural subdivision, supplied another consignment of geophysical equipment to Venezuela, the company’s press service told BelTA. Belarusian specialists have already started to assemble the equipment in Venezuela. Venezuelan specialists who underwent the relevant courses in Gomel will partake in the assembling as well. The relevant equipment was installed in the Venezuelan-Belarusian company Sismica BeloVenecolana in June 2009 and is used for the exploration of oil deposits in the Orinoco river basin. The Seismotekhnika company is fulfilling a large order on delivering geophysical equipment for the state corporation Turkmengeologiya. In line with the contract, the Belarusian company is set to export 20 seismic vibrators CD-30/120M to Turkmenistan in late 2009 and early 2010.
