Gomel team wins All-Russian Cup Computer Programming Tournament

A team from Gomel has won the Cup of the All-Russian Computer Programming Tournament held in St. Petersburg, BelTA learnt in the education department of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee. The Gomel oblast was represented by six teams. Gennady Korotkevich (Gomel grammar school #56), Alexei Kaminsky (Gomel secondary school #27), Roman Udovichenko (the Stolbtsy secondary school), who was a participant of the Gomel team, were awarded the main prize, diplomas, medals and certificates which give the right to enter Russian universities without exams. Mikhail Dolinsky, the assistant professor of Gomel Frantsysk Skaryna State University, is the coach of the Gomel team. Two Gomel teams more were awarded the second grade diplomas. A Mozyr team composed of students Alexei Ropan, Alexander Kulitsky and Eugeny Gritskevich took the third place.
