Gomel to host three exhibitions of Russian artists

GOMEL, 21 September (BelTA) – Three exhibitions of Russian artists will be on display in the Gomel Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace on 22 September, BelTA has learned.
The Pavlovsk State Museum-Reserve of St. Petersburg will present the exhibition “Emperor Pavlovsk – the Castle and the Park”. The exhibition will feature photographs of artist Yuri Molodkovets, copies of documents and portraits.
Another exhibition “Saint Patrons of the Slavonic Land” is presented by the Belyayevo gallery of Moscow. The exhibition will feature works of modern Russian artists.
Moscow painter Olga Alexandrova will display her works in Gomel as well. Many works of this artist are displayed in Russia, Europe and the United States.
The exhibitions of Russian artists are part of the project Gomel – Belarus and CIS Capital of Culture 2011.
