Belarus’ second liver transplantation operation successful

On April 15, the second liver transplantation operation was successfully performed in Belarus, Health Minister of Belarus Vasily Zharko told reporters on April 16.
According to him, a 51-year old woman with diagnosis of hepatic cirrhosis had a liver transplantation operation. At present she is well, physicians note.
The liver transplantation operation was performed by the same team of the surgeons who carried out the first operation.
