Gomel to host festival of animation films on September 11-15

On September 11-15, Gomel will play host to the Week of Animation Films, Larisa Ocherednyuk, the chief methodologist of the Gomelkinovideoprokat company, told BelTA. This is the second time that the festival will be organized in the region. During five days, the cinema houses will show the best movies, which were presented at the 10th International Festival of Animation Films “Animaevka-2007” in Mogilev. These are 12 films from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Armenia and Georgia. A contest of children’s pictures, concerts and games will be held within the frameworks of the Week of Animation Films.
