Belarusian Gomselmash to sell over $1.5m worth of assembly kits to China

GOMEL, 26 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian agricultural machinery manufacturer Gomselmash will ship a batch of completely knocked down kits worth over $1.5 million for assembling forage harvesters to China, the company’s press service told BelTA.
The relevant contract was signed by representatives of OAO Gomselmash and the Belarusian-Chinese joint venture Chongqing Zongshen-Gomel Agricultural Machine Manufacture Company when a Belarusian delegation visited the city of Handan. The assembly kits are supposed to be shipped to China over the course of one year.
The Belarusian delegation also participated in the official ceremony to unveil a new manufacturing wing of the joint venture and to ship the 500th harvester made by the joint venture.
At present Gomselmash ships such products to Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, and other countries.
