Belarus’ fixed capital investments up 27.6% in H1

MINSK, 22 July (BelTA) – In H1 2011 the volume of fixed capital investments in the construction industry in Belarus went up 27.6% as against the same period last year to reach Br32.6 billion, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee.
The construction and installation works went up 24.1% over January-June 2010 to the total of Br16 trillion.
In H1 house commissioning slimmed down by 17% to 2.644 million square meters. Moreover, house commissioning in villages and small towns made up 1.0503 million square meters (17.8% down).
