Around 300 schoolchildren of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine take part in meeting near Friendship monument

Around 300 schoolchildren of Gomel region, Bryansk, Chernigov, Kursk and South-Eastern district of Moscow took part in a meeting dedicated to the International Children’s Day near the Friendship monument, which is located at the meeting-point of Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine borders, head of the pedagogical department of Gomel region education board Lyubov Voinova told BelTA. The source noted, the schoolchildren were participants of the 10th international children festival “Druzya, Syabry, Druzi – Razam” (friends in Russian, Belarusian, and Ukrainian), which had taken place at the boarding house “Zolotyye Peski” of Gomel district. The festival’s closing ceremony was held near the Friendship monument. A concert of children amateur talents ended the festivities.
