Twenty-six summer camps in Gomel oblast get ready to host children

As many as twenty-six summer camps are getting ready to host children in Gomel oblast. According to the information given to BelTA by chief of the republican recuperation center’s oblast department Sergei Bondarenko, this year 20 summer camps and 6 sanatoria will operate in 3 or 4 shifts and host 19,500 children and teenagers. According to Sergei Bondarenko, not long ago the establishments in question have been examined. Special attention was paid to fire safety. According to the preliminary results, practically all the camps and sanatoria are ready to be duly opened. The first shift will start on May 30. By June 16 all summer camps of Gomel oblast will be opened.
