In January-February, 2006 Gomeloboi ramps up exports by 63 per cent

In January-February 2006 the open joint tock company Gomeloboi exported products worth of USD 4,2 million, or 63 per cent more as against the same period last year, BelTA has been told in the company’s marketing department. The key trading partner of the company is Russia which accounts for 80 per cent of all exports. The company has developed its own commodity distribution network in Moscow. Gomeloboi also sells its products to Lithuania, Ukraine, Moldova and other countries. Recently the company has grown its exports to Kazakhstan. The company notes that observing the principle “price-quality” has contributed to an increase in exports. During a year the company ensures a 25 per cent renewal of colour and pattern range of wallpapers. All products have been certified with the ecological standards. Gomeloboi was awarded a first class diploma in advanced technologies in Moscow at the international exhibition in 2005. Founded in 1927 the company is the country’s biggest producer of wallpaper and decorative paper for furniture makers. Gomeloboi offering range features textured wallpaper, water-resistant, duplex and vinyl wallpaper.
