Gomel schools to start working January 25

In view of the frosts, a nonscheduled break-up in Gomel oblast schools has been prolonged. Head of the education department of the Gomel oblast executive committee Maria Bondar informed that schools, gymnasiums and lyceums are expected to start working in Wednesday, January 25. We remind that in view of heavy frosts, lessons were canceled January 21-23. In this respect Gomel schools have lowered heating. Hence, to date temperature in classrooms makes 10-12 above zero. By Wednesday the temperature would be brought up to the norm.
