Gomel oblast rescuers install fire alarms as act of charity

Rescuers of Gomel oblast have been buying fire alarms for low income families as an act of charity. According to the information given to BelTA in the center of propaganda and education of the Gomel oblast emergencies department, employees of town and regional emergencies agencies purchase fire alarms for their own money to install them in households of large or monoparental families, lone elderly people or the disabled. The charity will last till June 15. Owing to it, several thousands of households of Gomel oblast will be secured against fire. Nowadays there are 29,000 people who need such fire alarms to be installed in their houses.
