Gomel, Novgorod to exchange theatre tours

MOSCOW, 8 July (BelTA) – The Gomel city youth theatre and the Novgorod academic drama theatre will exchange tours, BelTA learnt from the Novgorod oblast administration. The theatre tour exchange will run from 14 July to 17 July. The Novgorod theatre will show three plays and the Gomel artists will bring four productions. The Belarusian troupe will open the tour with the play based on Somerset Maugham’s “Home and Beauty”. They will also show the play “A dinner with an idiot” based on “The Dinner Game” by French comedy master Francis Veber, a comedy based on Edvard Radzinsky’s “I am standing at a restaurant: too old to marry and too young to die”. The tour will finish with the play “A very simple story”.
