Belarus, PRC continues negotiating joint manufacture of Gomselmash harvesters

Belarus and the PRC continue negotiating the terms of the joint manufacture of the combine harvesters of the Production Association Gomselmash in China, chairman of the State Control Committee Zenon Lomat reported to President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA was told in the press service of the head of state. The issues related to trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and China were touched upon during the meeting. In 2007, the Belarusian-Chinese trade was 40% up over 2006. China has launched the tractor assemblage facility and signed a contract for delivery of 320 MTZ-1025 and MTZ-1221 tractor sets. On the instruction of the head of state the State Control Committee supervises the course of implementation of large Belarusian-Chinese investment projects.
