Around 580,000 people to take part in nationwide voluntary clean-up day in Gomel oblast

Around 580,000 people, including 120,000 Gomel residents, are expected to take part in the nationwide voluntary clean-up day in the Gomel oblast, BelTA was told in the economy committee of the oblast executive committee. Most of the volunteers will be busy cleaning gardens, parks, sidewalks and yards. For example, the officials of the administration of the Tsentralny district of Gomel will plant trees in the residential area Klenkovsky; specialists of the culture department and economy committee of the oblast executive committee will be cleaning the territory of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble. As BelTA was told in the Gomel oblast committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, almost 65,000 young people will take part in the voluntary cleanup day in the oblast. For the workers of the town’s biggest companies such as Production Association Gomselmash, Tsentrolit, ZLIN and others, it will be an ordinary working day.
